Larkfield 10 km run

Larkfield AC 10K – 10.00am Sunday 15th September 2019.

The Larkfield 10k is a fun friendly race. The course is flat with great PB potential and perfect for first timers alike.
Every competitor will have chip timing. Every finisher will receive a memento of the event. Plenty of parking is available too. This is the only time runners will be allowed to run through the beautiful private estate of Bradbourne House! For those who have entered please take a few moments to read through the race instructions.

Instructions for Competitors

Thank you for entering the Larkfield AC 10K. We hope you have a great day and enjoy the race. Please arrive by 9.00am in order to park and collect your Race Number from Race HQ.

The Race Number (with the timing chip attached to the back) should be pinned to the front of your top. It should not be altered in any way and your contact details should be entered on the back of it along with details of any specific medical conditions.

If there are any late instructions for the race these will be posted on the club website so please keep an eye on this.

Marshall’s and runner safety

At all times runners must observe the Highway Code and rules of the road. Please abide by the directions of marshals and police around the course, but understand that marshals can only advise motorists and have no power to stop traffic.

When running on the road, please keep to the left unless directed otherwise by the police or a marshal.

While on the off-road sections, please be aware of pedestrians and dog walkers who may not be expecting runners to pass them.

The wearing of headphones is particularly discouraged; the wearer is less able to respond to instructions and is less aware of their surroundings.

Trophies and prizes

Trophy and prize presentation will take place at the race HQ at around 11:30.

These will be awarded in the following categories – Male 1st, 2nd, 3rd; M40; M50; M60; M70 Female 1st, 2nd, 3rd, F35, F45, F55; Male team (3 to score) and Female team (3 to score).

Please stay to watch the prize giving.

Once again, thank you for entering the Larkfield AC10K and we hope you have an enjoyable day.
